We had a great time down at Capitol Reef and the Escalante area last weekend. We drove down to see some slot canyons in Escalante but we didn't realize there wouldn't be any signage. So we got a little lost. And to top it off, we don't really know where the pictures we took are. They aren't on our camera. So, we are going to have to visit that place again (now that we know we'll have to take some maps and better directions to the slots). But here are some pictures from Capitol Reef. We had a great time going on some hikes and doing some great off-road driving (thanks again for the Jeep, J).

Lexie loving the Jeep. This thing got us through everything (especially lots of mud).
On our way to the sinkhole.
Gypsum Sinkhole. This was so cool and so deep!
Just standin'.
The road through Cathedral Valley was so fun! We crossed lots of washes and made it through lots of washed out sections of road. We only saw 1 other car on the whole trail. Very unique.

Lexie once again loving the jeep.

Wow- that is beautiful! I'm glad you had a great time and I too love driving that Jeep- although I didn't get it that muddy.
